Strolls 'n' Stories offers unique walking and storytelling experiences. Characters come to life as your host, Jan, acts out historical stories mixed within strolls through the Welsh countryside.

Come and explore famous Welsh towns, and beautiful surroundings. Each town has its own unique history and set of mysteries.

Don’t like to walk up hills?

Responding to requests from people who like sight-seeing but not long walks up hill, we give you our GENTLE series of events. In our event list below, the word GENTLE next to an event means it is an easy walk. Some GENTLE events may have one incline (where stated) but they are not long, hard climbs and we will gently stroll along. Enjoy!

Talybont-on-Usk and its mysterious Alchemy – Mystics, magic and truth.

Take in part of the Henry Vaughan walk along the river, lined with old trees and nestled in hills with beautiful views of the Brecon Beacons.

SEE the countryside where the metaphysical poet Henry Vaughn spent most of his life.
HEAR of his real life alchemist brother, Thomas Vaughn, who practised many types of magic with his wife.
HEAR of their tragic deaths… when they enter realms beyond their control.

If you wish to walk a little longer, we go to the waterfalls by car and wonder at the stunning series of falls as we walk along the beautiful path. This version of the walk would end around5:00 PM.
